Accessibility Statement
Version 1.0.0 — Effective April 14, 2026 — WINGUARDIAN.NET LLC d/b/a HWS.Center
1. Our Commitment
WINGUARDIAN.NET LLC, doing business as HWS.Center, is committed to ensuring that hws.center is accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We believe that inclusive design is an expression of our core values — Compassion and Community — and a legal obligation we take seriously under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III and the California Unruh Civil Rights Act (Civil Code § 51).
We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and, in doing so, adhere to the guidelines and standards described below.
2. Standards We Follow
HWS.Center aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is the accepted technical standard for web accessibility compliance under both ADA Title III and the California Unruh Act.
Our conformance target covers the four WCAG principles: our content is designed to be Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust.
3. Current Conformance Status
Partially Conformant: HWS.Center partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some content does not yet fully meet the standard due to known limitations described in Section 4. We are actively remediating these issues as part of ongoing development.
Accessibility features currently implemented include:
- Semantic HTML structure with descriptive page headings
- Descriptive
alttext on product images - Keyboard-navigable interactive elements with visible focus indicators
- ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and navigation landmarks
- Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA minimums for body and large text
- Responsive layout that adapts to 200%+ browser zoom
- Form fields with associated labels
4. Known Limitations
While we strive for full conformance, the following known limitations exist and are being actively addressed:
- Some third-party embedded content (payment widgets, chat tools) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements — we are working with vendors on remediation
- Auto-playing image sliders include pause controls but may still present challenges for certain screen reader configurations
- Some older product images sourced from vendors may lack optimized alt text — we are systematically updating these
5. Technical Specifications
HWS.Center relies on the following technologies for conformance:
- HTML5
- WAI-ARIA 1.1
- CSS3
- JavaScript (React / Next.js)
Accessibility has been assessed using a combination of automated tools and manual testing with keyboard navigation and common screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver).
6. Feedback & Accommodation Requests
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of HWS.Center. If you experience any barriers or have difficulty accessing any content or feature, please contact us — we will make reasonable efforts to provide an accessible alternative or accommodation.
